After much consideration, it is with a heavy heart that I announce a temporary Studio Closure. While I had hoped and tried to stay open during this time of uncertainty and give my clients a space to keep their minds and bodies healthy, I feel we all have a Social and Moral Obligation to do whatever we can to minimize the risk and spread of this virus. I am incredibly grateful for your continued support and patronage. Also, keep up with me on my social media channels to see what workouts I am doing outside of the studio. I thank you again for your membership and support-- I simply couldn’t do what I love without you!
Chiara
Chiara is trained as a “Comprehensive Balanced Body” Pilates instructor, with an international background and a deep interest in the development of movement patterns and fascial fitness. She has experience with clients of all ages including those with limited mobility and those with younger bodies looking to get fit and strong. She always tailors each and every session to the client’s specific needs.
Born and raised in Italy, she moved to the US in 2011. Although she completed her Master’s education in Politics and pursued a Corporate career in the Oil and Gas Industry that brought her to Texas, she soon realized that her happiness was not in the office. She had been in love with Pilates for many years, so in 2013 she took a leap and started her education with Balanced Body University.
Since then she has been working between the USA and Europe exploring her true passion for human anatomy, physiology, biomechanics and the evolution of movement. She is an active member of the Italian Pilates Community and spends every summer in Italy learning from the most advanced research group in fascia anatomy with Dr. Anna Maria Vitali, Divo Müller, Tiina Arrankowski, Carla Stecco and Antonio Stecco.
She believes in gratitude and kindness. These feelings inform and guide her teaching and practice, which are focused on helping her clients to better understand their bodies and to connect with their surroundings.
"Pilates is designed to give you suppleness, natural grace, and skill that will be unmistakably reflected in the way you walk, in the way you play, and in the way you work."
I’ve been a traveling soul all my life. I have been teaching between Austin TX and Italy since 2015. I am interested in Biomechanics, Embriology, evolution of movement. I believe in gratitude, and kindness. These feelings inform and guide my teaching and practice, which is focused on helping my clients better connect to themselves and with their surroundings. I offer private sessions, as well as duets to help my clients achieve healthier bodies and minds.
You will feel better in ten sessions, look better in twenty sessions, and have a completely new body in thirty sessions.
